Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened (room temperature)
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 3 cups (360g) all-purpose flour

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Gradually add the all-purpose flour to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  4. Roll the dough into small balls and place them on the prepared baking sheets, leaving some space between each cookie.
  5. Bake for 8-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden brown.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
