Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon grass-fed butter (plus more to grease the ramekin)
- ¼ cup almond flour
- 1 large egg
- ¼ teaspoon baking powder
- 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream (or nut milk)
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
- ⅛ teaspoon xanthan gum (optional)
Instructions:
- Grease the ramekin with butter to prevent sticking.
- In a small bowl, melt the butter in the microwave for about 15 seconds.
- Allow the melted butter to cool slightly, then add the almond flour, egg, baking powder, heavy cream, oregano, Parmesan, and xanthan gum (if using).
- Whisk the ingredients together until fully combined and smooth.
- Pour the batter into the greased ramekin.
- Microwave on high for 90 seconds. The bread will puff up significantly during cooking.
- Let the bread cool slightly before inverting the ramekin and gently tapping to release the bread.
