Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, split into flats and drums
  • 1 tbsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp neutral oil
  • 1/2 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions:

  1. Pat each wing individually with paper towels until completely dry to ensure maximum crispiness.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the wings with neutral oil, then sprinkle with kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, tossing until evenly coated.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (204°C). Arrange the wings in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they do not touch.
  4. Air fry for 12 minutes, flip each wing using tongs, and continue air frying for another 13 minutes until mahogany-colored and firm.
  5. Combine buffalo sauce and melted butter in a clean bowl; toss the cooked wings in the glaze until coated.
  6. Return the glazed wings to the air fryer for 2 minutes at 400°F (204°C) to set the sauce into a sticky coating.
