- 1 pound (454g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) Cajun seasoning blend
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- Pat shrimp dry with paper towels to ensure they get nice and crispy.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and lemon juice. Add the shrimp and toss to coat evenly.
- Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
- Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and have an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Remove shrimp from the air fryer. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley (if using) and serve immediately.
