Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (454g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) Cajun seasoning blend
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Pat shrimp dry with paper towels to ensure they get nice and crispy.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and lemon juice. Add the shrimp and toss to coat evenly.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring not to overcrowd. You may need to cook in batches.
  5. Air fry for 6-8 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and have an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  6. Remove shrimp from the air fryer. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley (if using) and serve immediately.
