Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 g) plain yogurt (preferably whole milk)
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- ½ cup (120 ml) vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups (180 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder

- ¼ teaspoon salt
- Fresh fruits (berries, oranges, etc.)
- Honey or powdered sugar (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease the cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together yogurt, sugar, and vegetable oil until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, folding gently until just combined (do not overmix).
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn it out onto a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve, optionally drizzled with honey or dusted with powdered sugar.
