Ingredients:
- 2 slices bread
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 4 ounces mascarpone cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar, plus more for dusting
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 semi-sweet chocolate chips
- Optional: a pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Toast the bread to your preferred level of doneness.
- While the bread is toasting, cream the softened butter in a small bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine the softened mascarpone cheese, confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, and optional pinch of salt. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
- Once the toast is ready, spread the mascarpone mixture evenly over each slice.
- Gently press two chocolate chips into each slice of toast to create the ghost's eyes.
- Lightly dust the toast with additional confectioners' sugar to create a ghostly effect.
