  • 1 cup boiling water (240 ml)
  • 1 cup cold water (240 ml)
  • 1 cup vodka (or other spirit, e.g., rum, tequila) (240 ml)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, dissolve the Jell-O gelatin powder in the boiling water. Whisk until completely dissolved (about 2 minutes), ensuring no granules remain.
  2. Stir in the cold water and vodka.
  3. Carefully pour the mixture into the individual shot cups, filling each about ¾ full. Arrange the filled cups on a cookie sheet (optional) for easy transport.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until completely set and firm.
  5. Serve chilled directly from the cups.
