Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (240ml) whole milk
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (120ml) whipped cream
  • 1 cup (150g) assorted fresh fruits (e.g., strawberries, blueberries, kiwi)
  • ½ cup (100g) chocolate ganache (optional)
  • Edible flowers for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine dry ingredients: flour, sugar, baking powder.
  3. Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, mix until combined, then add milk gradually.
  5. Fold in dry ingredients until just mixed.
  6. Divide batter between the prepared baking pans and smooth tops.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Allow cakes to cool in pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to racks to cool completely.
  9. Slice fruits as desired, and prepare whipped cream and chocolate ganache.
  10. Place cooled cakes on the board; layer if desired.
  11. Spread whipped cream on top and around the cakes.
  12. Arrange sliced fruits and drizzle chocolate ganache creatively.
  13. Sprinkle with edible flowers and serve.
