Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 oz / 225 g) wheel of Camembert cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • Fresh baguette or crackers
  • Fresh fruit (like apple or pear slices)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Remove the Camembert from its packaging and place it in the baking dish. Score the top of the cheese in a criss-cross pattern with a sharp knife.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the chopped rosemary, thyme, sliced garlic, olive oil, and a few cracks of black pepper. Spread this mixture evenly over the top of the Camembert.
  4. Evenly drizzle the honey over the cheese.
  5. Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and gooey.
  6. Carefully remove the dish from the oven, let it cool for a couple of minutes, then serve with fresh bread or crackers and fruit.
