Ingredients:
- 5 fl oz Light or White Rum
- 75 fl oz Blue Curaçao Liqueur
- 5 fl oz Pineapple Juice (100% unsweetened)
- 75 fl oz Cream of Coconut
- 25 fl oz Fresh Lime Juice
- Ice cubes
- 1 Pineapple wedge or slice (for garnish)
- 1 Maraschino Cherry (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Chill the Glass: Place the serving glass (Highball or Hurricane) in the freezer or fill it completely with ice water while you prepare the drink. Ensure all liquid ingredients are easily accessible and cold.
- Measure Liquids: Using a jigger, carefully measure the Light Rum, Blue Curaçao, Pineapple Juice, Cream of Coconut, and Lime Juice directly into the cocktail shaker tin.
- Add Ice and Shake: Fill the shaker 2/3 full with fresh, high-quality ice cubes. Secure the lid firmly and shake vigorously for approximately 15–20 seconds until the exterior of the shaker is thoroughly frosted. This chills and aerates the mixture.
- Prepare Serving Glass: Discard the chilling ice or water from the serving glass and fill it with fresh ice cubes.
- Strain and Serve: Double strain the mixture into the prepared serving glass.
- Garnish: Place the pineapple wedge on the rim of the glass and pierce the Maraschino cherry onto a cocktail stick, resting it near the pineapple. Serve immediately.
