Ingredients:
- 1 (10-ounce/283g) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
- 1 (8-ounce/227g) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (237ml) sour cream
- 1 cup (237ml) mayonnaise
- 1 (1-ounce/28g) package dry vegetable soup mix (like Lipton's)
- 1/4 cup (30g) grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (about 1 teaspoon)
- Pinch of ground nutmeg
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Squeeze as much moisture as possible from the thawed spinach. Ensure it's really dry!
- In the mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth.
- Stir in the vegetable soup mix, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and nutmeg. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Gently fold in the squeezed spinach until evenly distributed.
- Pour the spinach mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and lightly golden on top.
- Let the dip cool slightly before serving. This lets the flavors meld.
