Ingredients:
- 1/2 oz Vodka (Standard dry style)
- 1/2 oz White (Light) Rum
- 1/2 oz Gin (Classic London Dry)
- 1/2 oz Tequila Blanco (100% Agave)
- 1/2 oz Orange Liqueur (Triple Sec or Cointreau)
- 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 3/4 oz Simple Syrup (1:1 ratio)
- 2–3 oz Cola (High-quality brand, chilled)
- Ice (Cubed, sufficient quantity)
- 1 Lemon Slice or Wedge (For garnish)
Instructions:
- Prep the Glassware and Citrus: Ensure your highball glass is chilled. Juice the lemon and lime, straining out any pulp. Prepare the simple syrup if not already done.
- Combine the Base Spirits: Fill the chilled highball glass (or your cocktail shaker) three-quarters full with fresh ice. Measure and pour all five base spirits (Vodka, Rum, Gin, Tequila, Orange Liqueur) directly into the container.
- Add Sweet & Sour: Add the precise measure of fresh Lemon Juice, Lime Juice, and Simple Syrup.
- Chill and Mix: If using a shaker, shake vigorously for 10–15 seconds and strain the liquid into the highball glass filled with fresh ice. If mixing directly in the glass, stir vigorously with a bar spoon for 20–30 seconds.
- Finish and Garnish: Top the mixture with 2–3 oz (60–90 ml) of chilled Cola, pouring gently to create the iconic 'tea' color. Give the drink one final, very gentle stir. Garnish with a fresh lemon slice or wedge and serve immediately.
