Ingredients:
- 1 ½ lbs (680 g) ground beef (80% lean)
- 1 (6 oz) package of stuffing mix (any flavor)
- 1 cup (240 ml) beef broth
- 1 large egg
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp (5 g) Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp (5 g) dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- ½ cup (120 ml) ketchup
- 2 tbsp (30 g) brown sugar
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, stuffing mix, chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, salt, pepper, egg, and beef broth.
- Mix until just combined. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan, pressing it in firmly to shape.
- In a small bowl, combine ketchup, brown sugar, and apple cider vinegar. Mix well.
- Brush the glaze over the top of the meatloaf, ensuring even coverage.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- Remove from the oven, and let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
