Ingredients:
- 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 4 ounces (115g) imitation crab meat, finely chopped
- ¼ cup (30g) mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) sweet chili sauce
- 1 tablespoon (15ml) soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) chopped green onions, plus more for garnish
- Wonton wrappers (about 24), for chips
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Salt
Instructions:
- Cut wonton wrappers into triangles. Heat oil in a saucepan or deep fryer. Fry wonton triangles until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and green onions. Mix until well combined and smooth.
- Spread the crab dip mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in preheated oven until the dip is heated through, bubbly, and lightly golden brown on top.
- Remove from oven and garnish with extra chopped green onions. Serve immediately with homemade wonton chips.
