Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 4 ounces (115g) imitation crab meat, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup (30g) mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) chopped green onions, plus more for garnish
  • Wonton wrappers (about 24), for chips
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • Salt

Instructions:

  1. Cut wonton wrappers into triangles. Heat oil in a saucepan or deep fryer. Fry wonton triangles until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crab meat, mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and green onions. Mix until well combined and smooth.
  3. Spread the crab dip mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Bake in preheated oven until the dip is heated through, bubbly, and lightly golden brown on top.
  5. Remove from oven and garnish with extra chopped green onions. Serve immediately with homemade wonton chips.
