Ingredients:
- 1.5 large bananas, frozen and overripe
- 1 cup cold whole milk
- 0.5 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1 pinch sea salt
- 1 tsp honey (optional)
Instructions:
- Pour the cold milk into the base of the blender carafe first to create a vortex for the frozen ingredients.
- Break the frozen bananas into 2-inch chunks and add them to the blender along with the vanilla extract and sea salt.
- Start the blender on the lowest speed to break up the frozen fruit, then quickly increase to the highest setting. Blend for 45–60 seconds until aerated and velvety.
- Stop the blender and check the consistency with a spoon; it should hold a slight peak. If too thick, add milk 1 tablespoon at a time and pulse.
