Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240ml) sour cream
- 1/2 cup (120ml) mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup (60ml) granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (11 ounce/312g) can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1 (20 ounce/567g) can pineapple chunks, drained
- 1 cup (150g) mini marshmallows
- 1 cup (100g) shredded coconut
- 1 cup (150g) chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
- 1 cup (150g) maraschino cherries, halved (optional)
Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, sugar, and vanilla extract. Whisk until smooth and creamy.
- Drain the mandarin oranges and pineapple chunks very well. Pat dry with paper towels if desired.
- Add the drained mandarin oranges, pineapple chunks, mini marshmallows, shredded coconut, walnuts/pecans (if using), and maraschino cherries (if using) to the bowl with the dressing.
- Gently fold all the ingredients together until everything is evenly coated. Be careful not to overmix.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld.
- Serve chilled and enjoy this classic Creamy Delicatessen Fruit Salad!
