Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (120ml) mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup (60ml) sour cream
  • ¼ cup (60ml) buttermilk
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) white wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 4 ounces (115g) blue cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives or parsley (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, and vinegar until smooth.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
  3. Gently fold in the crumbled blue cheese, leaving some larger chunks for texture. Avoid over-mixing.
  4. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Chilling also thickens the dressing slightly.
  5. Before serving, stir in the chopped chives or parsley (if using). Serve chilled with your favorite salads, appetizers, or snacks.
