Ingredients:
- ½ cup (120ml) mayonnaise
- ¼ cup (60ml) sour cream
- ¼ cup (60ml) buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) white wine vinegar
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 4 ounces (115g) blue cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives or parsley (optional)
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, and vinegar until smooth.
- Stir in the minced garlic, black pepper, and salt. Taste and adjust seasonings as needed.
- Gently fold in the crumbled blue cheese, leaving some larger chunks for texture. Avoid over-mixing.
- Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Chilling also thickens the dressing slightly.
- Before serving, stir in the chopped chives or parsley (if using). Serve chilled with your favorite salads, appetizers, or snacks.
