Ingredients:

  • /2 cup Rolled Oats (Old Fashioned)
  • /2 cup Milk (Dairy or Non-Dairy)
  • /4 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
  • tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • teaspoon Maple Syrup (or Honey)
  • /4 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Salt

Instructions:

  1. Combine Dry Ingredients: In your jar or container, add the rolled oats, chia seeds, and a tiny pinch of salt. Give them a quick stir to distribute evenly.
  2. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until the mixture is homogenous.
  3. Combine & Seal: Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients in the jar. Stir thoroughly for about 30 seconds to ensure no dry clumps of oats or chia seeds are hiding at the bottom.
  4. Initial Rest: Let the mixture sit on the counter for 5 minutes, then stir again quickly. This prevents the chia seeds from clumping exclusively at the bottom.
  5. Chill: Secure the lid tightly and place the jar in the refrigerator. Allow it to chill for a minimum of 6 hours, but ideally overnight (8-10 hours).
  6. Serve & Top: The next morning, remove from the fridge. If the mixture is too thick for your liking, stir in a splash more milk. Add your chosen toppings and enjoy cold.
