Ingredients:
- 1 large head cauliflower, cut into uniform florets
- 3 Tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large, rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Wash and thoroughly dry the cauliflower florets. In a large bowl, combine the florets with olive oil, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Toss until everything is evenly coated.
- Spread the seasoned cauliflower onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, ensuring the florets have space between them.
- Roast for 15 minutes to begin the caramelization process.
- Remove the tray from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan evenly over the hot cauliflower. Gently shake the tray to distribute the cheese without dislodging too much.
- Return the tray to the oven for another 10–15 minutes, watching carefully until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle immediately with fresh parsley if using, and serve piping hot.
