Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sesame seeds, toasted
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons cold water
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sesame seeds, salt, and sugar.
- Add softened butter and mix using a fork or your fingers until crumbly.
- Stir in the egg and cold water, mixing until a dough forms.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
- On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into sticks using a knife or pizza cutter.
- Place cut sticks on a lined baking sheet, spacing evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
