Ingredients:
- 1 can (15 oz/425 g) refried beans
- 1 cup (240 g) sour cream
- 1 cup (120 g) guacamole (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 cup (100 g) salsa (thick and chunky works best)
- 1 cup (100 g) shredded cheddar cheese (or Mexican blend)
- ½ cup (75 g) sliced black olives
- ½ cup (75 g) chopped green onions (scallions)
- 1 cup (150 g) diced tomatoes (fresh or canned, drained)
Instructions:
- Drain and rinse canned beans. Dice tomatoes and chop green onions.
- Spread refried beans evenly at the bottom of the dish.
- Add a layer of sour cream over the beans, smoothing it out.
- Next, layer the guacamole on top of the sour cream.
- Pour salsa over guacamole and spread evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese over the salsa layer.
- Garnish with sliced black olives and diced tomatoes.
- Finish with chopped green onions on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
