- pinch (0.5g) salt
- 3 tbsp (45ml) milk
- 1 tbsp (15ml) vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp (15g) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp (5ml) milk
- 1 tsp (2g) rainbow sprinkles
Instructions:
- Combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt directly in a microwave-safe mug. Whisk thoroughly with a fork to ensure there are no clumps.
- Pour in the milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until the batter is smooth and no streaks of dry flour remain.
- Microwave on high for 60 seconds until the top looks set and feels spongy to the touch.
- While the cake is still warm, whisk the powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of milk together in a small bowl until smooth, then pour over the cake.
- Top with rainbow sprinkles immediately so they adhere to the wet glaze.
