  • pinch (0.5g) salt
  • 3 tbsp (45ml) milk
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp (15g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp (5ml) milk
  • 1 tsp (2g) rainbow sprinkles

Instructions:

  1. Combine the flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt directly in a microwave-safe mug. Whisk thoroughly with a fork to ensure there are no clumps.
  2. Pour in the milk, oil, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until the batter is smooth and no streaks of dry flour remain.
  3. Microwave on high for 60 seconds until the top looks set and feels spongy to the touch.
  4. While the cake is still warm, whisk the powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of milk together in a small bowl until smooth, then pour over the cake.
  5. Top with rainbow sprinkles immediately so they adhere to the wet glaze.
