Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Bisquick mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium saucepan, sauté the onion until translucent.
  3. Stir in the flour, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and milk. Cook until thickened.
  5. Stir in the diced chicken and frozen vegetables.
  6. Pour the filling mixture into the pie dish.
  7. In a mixing bowl, combine Bisquick, milk, and egg. Mix until just combined.
  8. Spread the Bisquick mixture over the chicken filling in the pie dish.
  9. Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
