Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked chicken, diced
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup Bisquick mix
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a medium saucepan, sauté the onion until translucent.
- Stir in the flour, thyme, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in the chicken broth and milk. Cook until thickened.
- Stir in the diced chicken and frozen vegetables.
- Pour the filling mixture into the pie dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine Bisquick, milk, and egg. Mix until just combined.
- Spread the Bisquick mixture over the chicken filling in the pie dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
