Ingredients:
- 3.5 lb baby back ribs
- 0.5 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 0.5 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tbsp honey
Instructions:
- Pat the ribs completely dry with paper towels and remove the silver skin membrane from the back of the ribs.
- Combine brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl to create the dry rub.
- Massage the dry rub generously into all sides of the pork ribs until fully coated.
- Place the ribs in the slow cooker, curving them into a circle to fit. Cover and cook on Low for 8 hours (or High for 4 hours) until meat pulls away from the bone by half an inch.
- Preheat the oven broiler to high and place a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil on the middle rack.
- Carefully transfer the cooked ribs from the slow cooker to the baking sheet.
- Whisk together the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and honey. Brush a thick layer of the glaze over the top of the ribs.
- Broil for 3 to 5 minutes, monitoring closely, until the sauce is bubbling and caramelized.
