Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour and baking powder.
  3. Gradually pour in the heavy cream while stirring to combine until a dough forms.
  4. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and gently knead just enough to bring it together (about 5-6 times).
  5. Roll the dough to about 1-inch (2.5 cm) thickness.
  6. Use a biscuit cutter or a glass to cut out rounds. Re-roll scraps if necessary.
  7. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes, until they are golden brown.
  8. Let them cool slightly before serving warm.
