Ingredients:

  • 1 package (12 count) Sweet Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1 lb Rare Deli Roast Beef, ultra-thinly sliced
  • 8 slices Provolone Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce (for glaze)
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Dried Onion Flakes
  • 1/2 tsp Poppy Seeds
  • 2 cups low sodium Beef Broth
  • 1 tbsp Beef Base (Better Than Bouillon)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce (for au jus)
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
  • Fresh cracked Black Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Slice the entire block of rolls in half horizontally. Place the bottom half in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Layer 4 slices of provolone cheese directly on the bottom bread. Ribbon the roast beef loosely over the cheese, then top with the remaining 4 slices of cheese and the top half of the rolls.
  3. Whisk melted butter, 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion flakes, and poppy seeds. Brush the mixture generously over the tops and sides of the rolls.
  4. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 8-10 minutes until the tops are golden brown.
  5. While sliders bake, combine beef broth, beef base, 1 tsp Worcestershire, and onion powder in a saucepan. Simmer for 5 minutes and season with black pepper.
