  • 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
  • 3 cups Corn Chex cereal
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (such as peanuts or cashews)
  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup furikake seasoning
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. In a large bowl, mix Rice Chex, Corn Chex, mixed nuts, and pretzel sticks. Set aside.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and sesame oil.
  5. Pour the butter mixture over the dry ingredients, stirring gently to ensure everything is well coated.
  6. Sprinkle furikake seasoning over the mixture, folding gently to incorporate.
  7. Spread the Chex mix evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, or until crispy.
  8. Allow the Chex mix to cool completely before serving. Store in an airtight container for optimal freshness.
