- 3 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 3 cups Corn Chex cereal
- 1 cup mixed nuts (such as peanuts or cashews)
- 1 cup pretzel sticks
- 1 cup furikake seasoning
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- In a large bowl, mix Rice Chex, Corn Chex, mixed nuts, and pretzel sticks. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and sesame oil.
- Pour the butter mixture over the dry ingredients, stirring gently to ensure everything is well coated.
- Sprinkle furikake seasoning over the mixture, folding gently to incorporate.
- Spread the Chex mix evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, or until crispy.
- Allow the Chex mix to cool completely before serving. Store in an airtight container for optimal freshness.
