- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 4 cloves garlic, freshly minced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a large rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat to prevent sticking.
- Combine the garlic powder, oregano, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Pat the frozen chicken breasts with a paper towel to remove excess frost.
- Rub the avocado oil over each breast, ensuring total coverage.
- Press the seasoning mix and the freshly minced garlic onto the oiled chicken.
- Heat a skillet over medium high heat for 3 minutes until a drop of water dances on the surface.
- Sear the chicken for 2 minutes per side until the garlic is fragrant and the surface is golden.
- Transfer the skillet to the oven (or move chicken to a baking sheet).
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the internal temperature hits 165°F and the edges are crisp.
- Rest the meat for 5 minutes until the fibers relax and juices redistribute.
