Ingredients:
- 4 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions:
- Place the strawberries, lemon juice, and vanilla extract in the blender and process on high for 60–90 seconds until the mixture is completely smooth and glossy.
- Preheat the oven to 175°F (80°C) and line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
- Pour the strawberry puree onto the center of the mat and use an offset spatula to spread it to a consistent thickness of roughly 1/8 inch, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
- Slide the tray into the center rack of the oven and bake for 6 hours.
- Remove from the oven once the center is no longer tacky to the touch, the surface has a matte appearance, and the leather peels away from the mat easily.
