Ingredients:

  • 4 cups fresh or frozen strawberries, hulled
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Place the strawberries, lemon juice, and vanilla extract in the blender and process on high for 60–90 seconds until the mixture is completely smooth and glossy.
  2. Preheat the oven to 175°F (80°C) and line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
  3. Pour the strawberry puree onto the center of the mat and use an offset spatula to spread it to a consistent thickness of roughly 1/8 inch, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  4. Slide the tray into the center rack of the oven and bake for 6 hours.
  5. Remove from the oven once the center is no longer tacky to the touch, the surface has a matte appearance, and the leather peels away from the mat easily.
