Ingredients:
- 1 cup (200g) granulated white sugar
- 4 cups (1 litre) water
Instructions:
- In the saucepan, combine the sugar and water.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the sugar is completely dissolved. Do not let it boil vigorously.
- Remove from heat and let cool completely.
- Once cool, use a funnel (if desired) to fill your thoroughly cleaned hummingbird feeder.
- Store any leftover nectar in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
