Ingredients:
- 1 cup (120g) graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (180g) semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup (150g) butterscotch chips (optional)
- 1 cup (100g) shredded coconut, unsweetened
- 1 cup (120g) chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans)
- 1 can (14 ounces or 397g) sweetened condensed milk
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the baking pan: Grease lightly or line with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Make the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
- Layer the toppings: Sprinkle the chocolate and butterscotch chips evenly over the crust. Add the shredded coconut and chopped nuts on top.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over all the layers.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the edges are golden and the center is set.
- Cool the bars completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting into squares.
