Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ cups almond flour
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
  • ½ cup sugar-free marinara sauce
  • ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
  • Pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, or other toppings of choice

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream cheese and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella. Microwave on high for 30 seconds; stir and repeat until melted and well combined.
  3. In a separate mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and the egg.
  4. Add the melted cheese mixture to the dry ingredients; mix until a dough forms.
  5. Place dough on a piece of parchment paper; cover with another piece and roll into a desired shape (about ¼ inch thick).
  6. Transfer to a baking sheet or a pizza stone; bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
  7. Remove crust from the oven; spread with marinara sauce and top with remaining mozzarella and desired toppings.
  8. Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Slice and serve hot.
