Ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups almond flour
- 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 2 oz cream cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp garlic powder (optional)
- ½ tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
- ½ cup sugar-free marinara sauce
- ¼ cup shredded mozzarella cheese (for topping)
- Pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, or other toppings of choice
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine cream cheese and 1 cup of shredded mozzarella. Microwave on high for 30 seconds; stir and repeat until melted and well combined.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and the egg.
- Add the melted cheese mixture to the dry ingredients; mix until a dough forms.
- Place dough on a piece of parchment paper; cover with another piece and roll into a desired shape (about ¼ inch thick).
- Transfer to a baking sheet or a pizza stone; bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
- Remove crust from the oven; spread with marinara sauce and top with remaining mozzarella and desired toppings.
- Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Slice and serve hot.
