Ingredients:

  • 2 shots of espresso or ⅓ cup brewed strong coffee
  • 1 cup whole milk or 240ml
  • 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup or 30ml
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, or to taste)
  • Whipped cream (for garnish)
  • Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings (for decoration)

Instructions:

  1. Brew the espresso or strong coffee using your preferred method.
  2. In a small saucepan or frother, heat the milk until steaming (do not boil). If using a saucepan, whisk vigorously to froth.
  3. Combine the chocolate syrup and sugar in a mug.
  4. Pour in the brewed espresso or coffee, mixing well with the chocolate and sugar.
  5. Add the steamed milk to the coffee mixture, using a spoon to hold back the foam and then topping it with the frothy milk.
  6. Top with whipped cream, if desired, and sprinkle with cocoa or chocolate shavings.
