Ingredients:
- 2 oz (60ml) Tequila (Blanco or Reposado)
- 1 oz (30ml) Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 oz (30ml) Cointreau (or other orange liqueur, like Triple Sec)
- 1 cup (approx. 200g) Fresh Mango chunks, peeled and pitted (or frozen, thawed)
- Ice cubes
- Optional: Coarse Salt or Sugar for rimming the glass
- Optional: Lime wedge for garnish
Instructions:
- If desired, rim the glass with salt or sugar.
- In a blender, combine tequila, lime juice, Cointreau, mango chunks, and a handful of ice.
- Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and slushy. If it's too thick, add a splash of water or more lime juice.
- For a finer texture, pour the mixture into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well for about 15 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with a lime wedge or a mango slice.
