Ingredients:

  • 2 oz (60ml) Tequila (Blanco or Reposado)
  • 1 oz (30ml) Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1 oz (30ml) Cointreau (or other orange liqueur, like Triple Sec)
  • 1 cup (approx. 200g) Fresh Mango chunks, peeled and pitted (or frozen, thawed)
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: Coarse Salt or Sugar for rimming the glass
  • Optional: Lime wedge for garnish

Instructions:

  1. If desired, rim the glass with salt or sugar.
  2. In a blender, combine tequila, lime juice, Cointreau, mango chunks, and a handful of ice.
  3. Blend until the mixture is completely smooth and slushy. If it's too thick, add a splash of water or more lime juice.
  4. For a finer texture, pour the mixture into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well for about 15 seconds.
  5. Strain the mixture into your prepared glass filled with ice.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge or a mango slice.
