Instructions:
- Finely chop the fresh pineapple and place it in a mixing bowl.
- Wearing gloves, finely mince the habanero pepper (removing seeds for milder salsa) and add to the bowl.
- Finely dice the red onion and incorporate it into the mixture.
- Add chopped fresh cilantro to enhance the salsas freshness.
- Chop the tomato and fold it into the salsa.
- Squeeze in the juice of a lime and sprinkle salt over the mixture.
- Gently mix all ingredients until well combined.
- Taste the salsa and adjust seasoning if necessary (more salt or lime juice).
- Enjoy immediately with tortilla chips or as a topping for your favorite dishes.
