- 1 cup (240ml) beef gravy (store-bought or homemade)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
- 2 tablespoons (30g) unsalted butter (for gravy)
- 2 tablespoons (30g) all-purpose flour
- 2 cups (480ml) beef broth
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Instructions:
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Whisk in flour and cook until golden, about 2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a skillet, gently heat sliced roast beef over medium-low heat until warmed through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
