Ingredients:

  • 4 fresh ears of corn on the cob (approximately 900g)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (about 57g), softened
  • ½ teaspoon salt (to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
  • Optional: 1 teaspoon paprika or chili powder for a kick

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Husk the corn, removing the silk and any damaged outer layers.
  3. Brush each ear of corn with softened butter and season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
  4. Individually wrap each ear in aluminum foil.
  5. Place the wrapped corn on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Remove from oven; check for doneness (kernels should be tender and fragrant).
  7. Carefully unwrap and serve hot with additional butter and seasonings as desired.
