Ingredients:
- 4 fresh ears of corn on the cob (approximately 900g)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter (about 57g), softened
- ½ teaspoon salt (to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper (to taste)
- Optional: 1 teaspoon paprika or chili powder for a kick
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Husk the corn, removing the silk and any damaged outer layers.
- Brush each ear of corn with softened butter and season with salt, pepper, and optional spices.
- Individually wrap each ear in aluminum foil.
- Place the wrapped corn on a baking sheet and bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Remove from oven; check for doneness (kernels should be tender and fragrant).
- Carefully unwrap and serve hot with additional butter and seasonings as desired.
