Ingredients:

  • 4 ears of corn, shucked and silk removed (approximately 15cm long)
  • 4 tablespoons (57g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon (5g) kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5g) black pepper, freshly ground
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon (15ml) chopped fresh herbs (e.g., parsley, chives, thyme)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup, if desired.
  2. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, salt, pepper, and optional herbs. Mix well.
  3. Generously brush or spread the butter mixture evenly over each ear of corn.
  4. Place the corn on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, turning halfway through. Corn is done when kernels are tender and slightly shriveled.
  5. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
