Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds (900 g) of king crab legs or snow crab legs, thawed if frozen
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon (5 ml) lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Old Bay seasoning (or to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
  3. Place the crab legs on the baking sheet. Cut them in half if they are too long.
  4. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, and Old Bay seasoning.
  5. Using a basting brush, generously coat the crab legs with the garlic butter mixture. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Cover the crab legs loosely with aluminum foil and roast for 15-20 minutes until heated through.
  7. Check that the internal temperature is at least 145°F (63°C) if using a thermometer.
  8. Remove from the oven, drizzle any remaining garlic butter over the crab, and garnish with parsley. Serve with lemon wedges.
