  • 1 cup (240ml) Milk
  • ½ cup (120ml) Water
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Chia Seeds
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) Vanilla Extract
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 tablespoons (32g) Natural Peanut Butter
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Maple Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Milk
  • ½ Banana, sliced (Optional)
  • 1 tablespoon (8g) Chopped Peanuts (Optional)
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5g) Cacao Nibs (Optional)
  • A drizzle of honey or maple syrup (Optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, combine rolled oats, milk, water, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Stovetop: Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally. Microwave: Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  3. While oatmeal cooks, whisk together peanut butter, maple syrup, and milk until smooth. Add more milk if needed for drizzling consistency.
  4. Pour cooked oatmeal into a serving bowl.
