- 4 tablespoons (56g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients: all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined. Avoid over-mixing.
- Preheat the skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with oil or butter.
- Use a ladle to pour batter onto the skillet, forming pancakes of your desired size.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and continue cooking until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Serve warm with maple syrup and fresh berries on top.
