Ingredients:

  • 12 slider buns (King's Hawaiian or similar)
  • 4 tablespoons (57g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 pound (227g) Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 pound (113g) pepperoni, sliced or diced
  • 1/2 cup (75g) green bell pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup (75g) red onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup (75g) sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup (240g) pizza sauce
  • 2 cups (226g) shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions:

  1. Slice the slider buns horizontally, creating a top and bottom half.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
  3. Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the bottom half of each slider bun.
  4. Layer Italian sausage, pepperoni, bell pepper, red onion, and mushrooms evenly over the sauce on each slider.
  5. Generously top each slider with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Brush the tops of the slider buns with the garlic butter mixture.
  7. Place the bottom half of the sliders in the baking pan. Place the top slider buns onto the sliders. Cover the baking pan tightly with foil, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the slider buns are lightly golden brown.
  9. Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
