Ingredients:
- 12 slider buns (King's Hawaiian or similar)
- 4 tablespoons (57g) unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 pound (227g) Italian sausage, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 pound (113g) pepperoni, sliced or diced
- 1/2 cup (75g) green bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup (75g) red onion, diced
- 1/2 cup (75g) sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup (240g) pizza sauce
- 2 cups (226g) shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
- Slice the slider buns horizontally, creating a top and bottom half.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning.
- Spread a thin layer of pizza sauce on the bottom half of each slider bun.
- Layer Italian sausage, pepperoni, bell pepper, red onion, and mushrooms evenly over the sauce on each slider.
- Generously top each slider with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Brush the tops of the slider buns with the garlic butter mixture.
- Place the bottom half of the sliders in the baking pan. Place the top slider buns onto the sliders. Cover the baking pan tightly with foil, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the slider buns are lightly golden brown.
- Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve warm and enjoy!
