Ingredients:
- 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear.
- Brush the fillets lightly with olive oil, then season generously with salt and pepper.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (approx. 400°F / 200°C) and brush the grates with oil to prevent sticking.
- Place fillets skin-side down on the hot grates and grill for 4–5 minutes without moving them.
- Flip the fillets using tongs and grill for another 3–4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C).
- While salmon finishes cooking, melt butter in a small pan, sauté minced garlic, and stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley.
- Drizzle the lemon-garlic butter over the grilled salmon fillets and serve immediately.
