Ingredients:

  • 4 (6 oz) salmon fillets, skin-on
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Pat the salmon fillets completely dry with paper towels to ensure a proper sear.
  2. Brush the fillets lightly with olive oil, then season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (approx. 400°F / 200°C) and brush the grates with oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Place fillets skin-side down on the hot grates and grill for 4–5 minutes without moving them.
  5. Flip the fillets using tongs and grill for another 3–4 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C).
  6. While salmon finishes cooking, melt butter in a small pan, sauté minced garlic, and stir in lemon juice and chopped parsley.
  7. Drizzle the lemon-garlic butter over the grilled salmon fillets and serve immediately.
