Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder.
  2. Add olive oil and warm water; mix until a cohesive dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover with a towel or plastic wrap; let it rest for 30 minutes.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and Greek yogurt.
  6. Stir in chopped herbs, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  7. Divide the rested dough into 4 equal pieces.
  8. Roll each piece into a thin circle or rectangle (about 1/8 inch thick).
  9. Heat a dry frying pan over medium-high heat.
  10. Cook each rolled lavash for 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned and cooked through.
  11. Place cooked lavash on a plate and cover with a kitchen towel to keep warm.
  12. Spread the creamy herb filling over each piece of lavash.
  13. Roll or fold the lavash as desired.
  14. Serve immediately, warm.
