Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Add olive oil and warm water; mix until a cohesive dough forms.
- Knead the dough for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
- Cover with a towel or plastic wrap; let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and Greek yogurt.
- Stir in chopped herbs, garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Divide the rested dough into 4 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a thin circle or rectangle (about 1/8 inch thick).
- Heat a dry frying pan over medium-high heat.
- Cook each rolled lavash for 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned and cooked through.
- Place cooked lavash on a plate and cover with a kitchen towel to keep warm.
- Spread the creamy herb filling over each piece of lavash.
- Roll or fold the lavash as desired.
- Serve immediately, warm.
