Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons miso paste (preferably white miso)
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (optional)
  • 1-2 green onions, finely chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, add soy sauce, miso paste, rice vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, ginger, and garlic.
  2. Using a whisk or fork, mix until the ingredients are fully blended and smooth.
  3. Taste the sauce and adjust the sweetness or acidity as desired, adding more sugar or vinegar if necessary.
  4. If using, sprinkle sesame seeds on top and garnish with finely chopped green onions.
  5. Serve immediately or transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate for later use.
