Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons (60ml) olive oil
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon (5g) red pepper flakes, adjust to taste
- 1 teaspoon (5g) smoked paprika
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly cracked pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons (30g) fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
- Lemon wedges for serving
- Fresh parsley, chopped for serving
Instructions:
- Rinse and pat dry the shrimp. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and red pepper flakes; toss to coat.
- Add olive oil to a large skillet over medium-high heat. Allow the oil to heat until shimmering.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant (do not let it brown).
- Add seasoned shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink.
- Turn the shrimp over and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes. Drizzle lemon juice over the shrimp while cooking.
- Remove from heat once shrimp are fully cooked (opaque). Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
