Ingredients:

  • 1 pound (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon (1.25ml) salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon (0.6ml) black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

  1. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan (or in the microwave). Stir in the minced garlic, lemon juice, smoked paprika, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with the garlic butter sauce, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) if your air fryer requires it. Place the shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  5. Air fry for 6 minutes, flipping halfway through (at 3 minutes), until the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
