Ingredients:

  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans cut green beans, drained well
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 ½ cups French fried onions, divided

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, pepper, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Stir well to combine.
  3. Pour the green bean mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle half of the French fried onions evenly over the top of the green bean mixture.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until bubbly and heated through.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining French fried onions over the top.
  7. Return to the oven and broil for 1-2 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and crispy, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  8. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
