Ingredients:
- 2 cups brewed coffee (preferably espresso or strong coffee)
- 1 cup whole milk (or non-dairy milk)
- 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2-4 tbsp sugar, to taste
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish
Instructions:
- Brew 2 cups of strong coffee using desired method (espresso machine or French press).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cocoa powder, sugar, and a pinch of salt. Gradually whisk in brewed coffee until the mixture is smooth.
- Heat milk using a milk frother or steam wand until it reaches about 150°F (65°C). Froth until creamy and light in texture.
- Slowly pour the chocolate coffee mixture into two serving cups. Top each cup with the steamed milk, swirling gently to combine.
- Add whipped cream if desired and sprinkle with chocolate shavings or cocoa powder.
