Ingredients:
- 2 pounds frozen crab legs (900g)
- 2 cups water (475ml)
- 1 cup dry white wine (240ml)
- 2 tablespoons Old Bay seasoning (30ml)
- 1 lemon, cut into wedges
- Melted butter, for dipping
Instructions:
- Pour water and white wine (if using) into the pot. Add Old Bay seasoning. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Place crab legs in the steamer basket or directly into the pot. Make sure they fit in a single layer; you may need to cut them into smaller sections.
- Cover the pot tightly with the lid. Reduce heat to medium and steam for 8-12 minutes, or until the crab legs are heated through. Look for the shells to turn bright red and the meat to be steaming hot.
- Carefully remove the crab legs from the pot using tongs. Serve hot with lemon wedges and melted butter for dipping.
